Etxeko Bob’s Beer /// Branding
The OG.
A while back my friend Katie ask me to help out with a school assignment she was doing. I’m leaving out a lot of the details, but the idea was to take an existing business and revamp their branding. At least, that was the purpose of bringing me in to help. I think the actual purpose of the project was a lot larger in scope, but I was tasked with the imagery of it all.
The business was Etxeko Bob’s Beer, a small brewery somewhere in France. the rundown Katie gave me was to take a cross-sample of their existing product lineup and give it an updated look. Straightforward enough.
I typically don’t work a lot with primary color palettes, but had fun working within the boundaries I gave myself. I didn’t want to stray very far some the core elements (color, imagery, etc.) so I did a lot of tinkering with different ways of using those elements.
The final result was a bold take on what EBB already had going. It isn’t a huge departure, but significant enough to bring it a little more into a competitive packaging market.
Hey, not a very long process for this one.
